Prenatal Yoga Series
Our five-week prenatal yoga series offers the opportunity to connect with the person you're becoming, the life you're growing, and a community of others embarking on this new threshold together. We'll work on building strength to support the demands of pregnancy and labor, coming into alignment, and finding greater access to breath. And we'll cap it off with a dreamy savasana, because pregnancy is basically like running a 40-week marathon.
We believe there is no right way to birth. Our classes are non-dogmatic and are aimed at deepening your connection with yourself while building a coping mindset so you can handle whatever comes your way.
What’s included:
Five, 90-minute yoga classes with optional time to connect over tea after class
Weekly check-ins sharing the joys and challenges of pregnancy with others who get it
Themed classes offering opportunities for reflection, connecting with baby, and connecting with yourself as a parent
Pregnancy- and birth-specific movements that empower you to find ease, strength, and balance in your body at any stage of pregnancy
Access to a WhatsApp group to start building your local parenting community beyond class sessions
Herbal extras for pregnancy and postpartum

You are welcome to join at any time in your pregnancy. Movements will be appropriate for any stage of pregnancy and adapted for who’s in the room. For many people, second trimester is the sweet spot where you have the energy and are feeling well enough to commit to participating, but listen to your body!

Absolutely! You can join as many series as you’d like throughout your pregnancy.

Classes are held at Sacred Growing Space, a beautiful practice space in the Gatewood neighborhood of West Seattle (7358 35th Ave SW
Seattle WA, 98126 - next to Cafe Verde). Enter through the double doors.There is ample free street parking on both sides of 35th, as well as east of the building on Webster and 34th. There is a bus stop for the 21 bus right out front.

Please bring your own mat. Bolsters, blankets, and blocks will be provided for each participant.

If your plans change and you need to cancel your enrollment, a 50% refund will be issued for cancelations at least two weeks before the series start date. Within two weeks of the series start date there will be no refunds. There are no make up classes for missed sessions. In the event of teacher illness, a backup will teach. In the event that coverage is not available, students will receive a $25 refund for the missed class.
